My name is Danyl Marie Noelle L. Maranon. IT was not my dream course; I had no other choice. My only dream was to finish my studies and find a decent job. By good luck, after four tiring, stressful, and dreadful years, I was able to graduate and secure a position in the IT industry.
Currently, I have been a web developer for over seven years. I am proud to be one of the women who knows how to code. Coding is a complex and challenging field that requires a strong analytical mindset and constant problem-solving skills. Each project presents its own set of challenges, from debugging tricky errors to optimizing performance. Despite the difficulties, the satisfaction of creating functional and efficient web applications is rewarding.

As a co-lead/organizer at WordCamp Iloilo 2023, I played a key role in helping the lead with planning and executing the event, collaborating with a dedicated team to ensure its success. Our responsibilities included venue selection, speaker recruitment, sponsor engagement, and attendee outreach.

Attending WordCamp Asia for the first time was thrilling, and volunteering made it even more fulfilling. I assisted at the contributor day registration desk. One of the duty is to helped distribute meals, ensuring everyone was catered to. These experiences not only enriched the event but also allowed me to connect with the WordPress community in a meaningful way.
